Nancy O'Dell started her career in broadcasting by working as a reporter at WPDE-TV, Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Then she became an anchor in the morning and a reporter on WCBD TV. The work of O'Dell in Charleston regarding the leniency of police officers towards DUI cases has led to being the State Law Enforcement Division investigating these instances. In the year 2000, Associated Press awarded Ms. O'Dell an award for the Best Report of the year Award to every aspect of South Carolina media. After her time in Charleston O'Dell worked as a anchor and investigative reporter at the NBC Miami station WTVJ-TV prior to joining Access Hollywood as a weekend anchor as well as a weekday correspondent.
